Louis de Fourcaud (1851–1914), in an 1884 portrait by John Singer Sargent

French journalist, art critic, collector, and educator (b. 6 November 1851 [N.S.] in Beaumarches; d. 19 October 1914 [N.S.] in Beaumarches), born Louis de Boussès Fourcaud.

In 1884, he commissioned the piano piece Impromptu-Caprice from Tchaikovsky.
