Russian journalist and music critic (b. 1843; d. 1894), born Mikhail Onisiforovich Petukhov (Михайл Онисифорович Петухов)

He was an author of many musical-critical articles and essays, and corresponded with Tchaikovsky in 1890 and 1891.
