Besides the above compositions, several of Tchaikovsky's Student Exercises were written for orchestra in 1863 and 1864, and his Military March (1893) was written for piano but intended to be performed by military band.
The following unrealised compositions may also have been intended as orchestral works: Adagio in G major (early 1860s?); March on Belorussian and Ukrainian Folk Tunes (1893); and the undated Valse in E major.
