16-го марта 18[80] г[ода] Модя! Писать некогда. Скажу тебе только, что вчерашнее твоё письмо доставило мне безграничное наслаждение. Касательно путешествия на Кавказ я с тобой совершенно согласен. По-моему, тебе до Гранкино нужно пожить в Каменке. Как я рад буду тебя увидеть! С удовольствием готов даже уступить тебе флигель. Я пришлю тебе к 1-го апреля должную сумму. Надеюсь, что ты после поездки в Сорренто и т. д. возвратишься в Pension d'Orient? Напиши обстоятельно, когда выезжаешь в Россию. Собственно, письмо эта пишу с целью разъяснить это обстоятельство: боюсь прислать деньги, когда тебя в Неаполе не будет, и чтоб не произошла каша. Это письмо не в счёт. Завтра напишу обстоятельнее.
