The autograph was auctioned in October 1985 by Phillips, London, where it was described as: "A.L.S. in French, 1 page, 8vo, Moscow, 24 September 1887 to an unidentified correspondent, introducing Mlle. Magnitzky, a very distinguished pianist, and pupil of the Moscow Conservatoire who wished to be introduced into the best musical circles in Berlin" — see Books, Atlases and Maps.
