27 October 1889 Dear Lida!
As a consequence of being inundated by all manner of affairs, I haven't been been anywhere besides the conservatory and the Hall of the Nobility — and that's why I had absolutely no opportunity to visit you. Perhaps I could call on you on Sunday on my way to the station (I'm going to Petersburg). I'm sending you two passes for tomorrow's concert for you and Vera. Until we meet, keep well! Yours, P. Tchaikovsky |
