Итак, решено, — жду тебя около 6 декабря. Недурно бы приехать и Антоше, и пусть привезёт отрывки «Наля». Если, Бог даст, твоё дело выгорит, — то я непременно буду советовать тебе взять на всю остальную зиму отпуск, чтобы успеть вовремя приготовить партитуру.

Обнимаю, писать более некогда!

And so it's settled—I'll expect you around 6 December [1]. It wouldn't be a bad thing if Antosha were to come too, and he can bring extracts from "Nal" [2]. If, God willing, your plans work out, then I would certainly advise you to take leave for the remainder of the winter, to allow time to prepare the score [3].
