16 February 1892 Dear friend!
Please, show attention and sympathy to the bearer of this, the young composer A. Koreshchenko P. Tchaikovsky P. S. These words were added today, 5th March. Could you possibly come to the director's [1] tomorrow at 5 o'clock, where Koreshchenko will play his cantata-opera?[2] That would be very desirable and most flattering for him. We might then accompany you home together. |
