Russian dramatist, poet, theatrical critic and translator (b. 1836 in Yekaterinodar; d. 20 January/2 February 1905 in Saint Petersburg), born Dmitry Vasilyevich Averkiyev (Дмитрий Васильевич Аверкиев).
