Dear friend
I should like to see you tomorrow. I require capital. I don't know if the store is open tomorrow (Tuesday), and therefore I'm writing to ask you either to come to me in the morning before 11, or to let me know when and where I can see you tomorrow afternoon. Tell Sofya Ivanovna that there's a rehearsal of "Les deux Journées" on Wednesday at 6 o'clock, which I need to be at, and therefore our dinner must be postponed until another day. Come to me doesn't mean come to Anatoly's, but rather to the Grand Moscow Hotel, No. 17. Yours, P. Tchaikovsky If you're having lunch tomorrow at Natalya Nikolayevna's, then let's go together. I need to visit her. Give your answer! |
