В день отъезда из Москвы я положил на шкап с правой стороны три книги и корректуру романсов, показал все это Ивану и просил отнести на другой день Юргенсону. Иван не исполнил приказания. Никогда ему этого не прощу. Прошу корректуру отыскать. Кланяйся Рубинштейну. Опера пойдёт пятницу 13 числа. Сообщи всем желающим приехать. On day leaving Moscow I put three books and proofs of romances [1] on right side of cabinet, showed all this to Ivan [2] and asked him to take to Jurgenson next day. Ivan did not follow instructions. Will never forgive him for this. Ask you to locate proofs. Regards to Rubinstein. Opera going on Friday 13th inst [3]. Tell all who wish to come.
