Мне очень жаль, что Наранович ещё до сих пор не переслал Вам пиэсу, которую я доставил ему ещё об прошлую субботу 12 числа. Поверьте, что за мной проволочки никогда не будет. Завтра утром пошлю узнать, почему пиэса не выслана. Сегодня я его видел на репетиции консерваторского спектакля, и он сказал мне, что она отправлена. Искренно преданный Вам, П. Чайковский |
7 March, 12 midnight. Most kind Nikolay Matveyevich!
I am very sorry that Naranovich [1] still has not sent off your piece [2], which I gave to him as long ago as Saturday the 12th [3]. Be assured that delays will never be due to me. Tomorrow morning I shall set out to discover why the piece has not been sent. I saw him today at a rehearsal for a conservatory production [4], and he informed me that it had been dispatched.
