Russian writer and journalist (b. 1855 in Odessa; d. 1921), born Abram Yevgenyevich Kaufman (Абрам Евгеньевич Кауфман).

In 1913, Kaufman published his recollections of Tchaikovsky's visit to Odessa in 1893 to conduct his opera The Queen of Spades.
