Russian cellist, teacher, and composer (b. 1847; d. after 1910), born Aleksandr Vasilyevich Kuznetsov (Александр Васильевич Кузнецов).

A contemporary of Tchaikovsky's at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory during the 1860s, Kuznetsov became a member of the "Russian Quartet" in Saint Petersburg and regularly participated in quartet concerts of the Russian Musical Society, in which he regularly played Tchaikovsky's works.
