Russian lawyer and senator (b. 1859; d. 1919?), born Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Zhedrinsky (Александр Александрович Жедринский).

A graduate of the Aleksandrovsky law school in Saint Petersburg, Zhedrinsky subsequently became the manager of the Senate printing house, a consultant to the Ministry of Justice, and a state senator. Tchaikovsky and his brother Anatoly were friends with Aleksandr Zhedrinsky and his brother Vladimir (1851–1892) during the time that they lived in Saint Petersburg.
