Venice 24/12 November 1877 Dear Kolya! I was very happy to receive your letter, although sad that it was so short. Another time write a little more to me, about what you are doing, where you are walking, and what you are learning? Venice is a very beautiful city; instead of streets they have canals here, and they travel on boats. There are no horses at all. I am perfectly well and living together with Tolya. I'm very bored because it's so long since I saw you and Modya. If only we could live together again, as we did in Palavas. I kiss you hard. P. Tchaikovsky |
