In 1876 Borisov graduated from the [[Saint Petersburg]] Conservatory, and gave recitals in [[Kharkov]], [[Kiev]], [[Odessa]] and other Russian cities, as well as in England and Italy. From 1882 he was an artist at the Bolshoi Theatre in [[Moscow]], where he premiered the role of Kochubey in Tchaikovsky's ''[[Mazepa]]'' in 1884. After 1894 he moved to [[Odessa]], where he taught singing classes.

In 1876, Borisov graduated from the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, and gave recitals in Kharkov, Kiev, Odessa and other Russian cities, as well as in England and Italy. From 1882 he was an artist at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, where he premiered the role of Kochubey in Tchaikovsky's Mazepa in 1884. After 1894 he moved to Odessa, where he taught singing classes.
