I have no tickets in my possession, and, with the greatest regret, I am unable to satisfy the wishes of the persons who have just petitioned me. It is necessary to request tickets from N. G. Rubinstein or K. Albrecht. However, so far as I am aware, all the seats are already taken [1].
P. Tchaikovsky

I am extremely sorry that I cannot help.

Notes and References

  1. Tchaikovsky is referring to tickets for the premiere of Yevgeny Onegin at the Maly Theatre in Moscow on 17/29 March 1879. The names of the persons requesting tickets are unknown.
