Spirit friend! I completely forgot yesterday to let you know that Rachinsky asked you to come today, Wednesday. Please, join us; meet me at 8.30 in the Moscow restaurant, and from there we'll go on together.

Loyal unto the grave

Pyotttttr [2]

Notes and References

  1. Dated to the late 1860s on the basis that Tchaikovsky was friendly with Sergey Rachinsky at that time.
  2. The composer and Ivan Klimenko often referred to themselves by humorous versions of their names.
