9 сент[ября] Сейчас вернулся из Петербурга. В субботу утром я приеду в Москву. Прошу тебя, голубчик, заказать у нотариуса доверенность, которую я в субботу же мог бы подписать. Если нужен пачпорт, то я его привезу с собой; думаю, что высылать не стоит. Попроси Софью Ивановну пригласить в субботу вечером Губертов; очень бы хотелось провести с ними вечер у вас. До свиданья! 9 September I've just returned from Petersburg. On Saturday morning I'm travelling to Moscow. I ask you, golubchik, to order a notary's letter, which I could sign on Saturday [1]. If a passport is required, then I'll bring it with me; I don't there will be anything to pay. Ask Sofya Ivanovna to invited the Huberts on Saturday evening; I should very much like to spend an evening with them [2]. Until we meet! Yours P.
