7 апреля 1888 Милый друг! О Борисоглебском поговорим при свидании. Я положительно обещался платить за него, и отказаться нельзя, но не хотелось бы вдруг все деньги, ибо очень мне на летнюю жизнь нужны, — боюсь что не хватит прожить до 1-го октября (возьму опять 6000 у Н. Ф. ф[он] М[екк]). Партитура скрипичного концерта в одном из сундук[ов], которые придут или уже пришли из Парижа. Партитуру «Pezzo» привезу с собой. Голоса 4-ой симфонии мне совершенно необходимо просмотреть. Голоса 1-ой, пожалуй, можно и без меня. Я приеду вскоре после получения тобой этого письма, т. е. в начале страстной недели. До свиданья! 7 April 1888 Dear friend! We'll discuss Borisoglebsky when we meet . I categorically promised to pay for it, and must not repudiate this, but I don't want to pay all the money at once, because I need it very much to tide me over the summer — I'm afraid there isn't enough to last me until 1st October (when I'll be receiving another 6000 from N. F. von Meck). The score of the violin concerto is in one of the cases which is coming or has already arrived from Paris. I'll bring the full score of the "Pezzo" with me. It is absolutely essential that I review the parts of the 4th symphony. The parts of the 1st can probably be done without me. I'll be arriving soon after you receive this letter, i.e. at the start of Easter week. Until we meet! Yours, P. Tchaikovsky
