Before I left, I gave you the score of the "Voyevoda" dances with a sheet of music paper attached at the end. This sheet bears the words the end, and there's a mark indicating the bar in the score where it needs to go. You saw it, Kashkin examined it, Aleksey placed it carefully, and I absolutely don't understand how this sheet could have disappeared. Perhaps you dropped it in the carriage if you looked at it there? It's very, very annoying! Do I really need to do it again? As I don't have the memory of a penny, I'll have to come up with it all over again. For God's sake look for it! It was very carefully inserted into the last pages of the score. If you can reprint and paste in the ending then I'll be very glad, because there are no other changes, but the markings I inserted should be put into the plates, the errors indicated should be corrected, and in general it would be a good thing for me to do one more proofreading again after the new markings and corrections have been added.

Figner and the Grand Duke's copies are essentially gifts from me, out of my 5 copies. I also ask you to send one more copy to Modest.

Do you know that I remember Saturday and Sunday with such delight — it was so pleasant and fun. My God, sometimes it's good to depart from the norm.

I hope that the sheet hasn't disappeared, and you simply didn't notice it. Please, let me know as soon as possible if it's been found?

Yours, P. Tchaikovsky

Don't forget, golubchik, to put the snacks you brought on my account.
