Париж 29 июля 1876 г[ода] Миша! Теперь уже скоро увидимся. Я прожил две недели на берегу Средиземного моря вместе с Модестом. Теперь я в Париже. Сегодня отправляюсь в Германию, а 6-го или 7-го числа поеду в Россию, в деревню к сестре. Там я проживу до конца августа, а потом к 1-му сентября буду в Москве. Пожалуйста, Приезжайте туда оба пораньше, т. е. дня за два до моего приезда, чтобы все приготовить. Я уж начинаю скучать по Москве и рад буду домой вернуться. Очень мне хочется вас видеть. Сегодня я купил тебе булавку коралловую, а Алёше серебряную шейную цепочку, да ещё купил вам маленькие подарочки. Прощай, будь здоров и приезжай в Москву вовремя. Алёшу поцелуй, жене и матери кланяйся. П. Чайковский Скажи Леньке, что я сержусь, зачем не написал мне в Виши.

Paris 29 July 1876 Misha! Now I will see you soon. I spent two weeks together with Modest on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Now I am in Paris. Today I am travelling to Germany, and on the 6th or the 7th of the month I will be going to Russia, to my sister's village. I shall live there until the end of August, and then on the 1st of September I shall be in Moscow. Please both come there early, i.e. a day or two before my arrival, in order to prepare everything. I am already starting to miss Moscow and I shall be glad to return home. I very much want to see you. Today I bought you a coral pin and a silver neck chain for Alyosha, and even bought you little presents. Farewell, be healthy, and come to Moscow on time. I kiss Alyosha and bow to your wife and mother. P. Tchaikovsky Tell Lyonka that I am upset with him for not writing to me at Vichy.
