Yakov Rykovsky

Great-great-great grandfather of the composer, born Yakov Danilovich Rykovsky (Яков Данилевич Рыковский).

Originally from Novgorod, Yakov Rykovsky arrived in Saint Petersburg in the 1720s, where he was Priest at the church of Saint Matthew the Apostle. He had at least one son — Dmitry (1721–1757).
