The cellist Brandukov is giving a concert on Thursday evening in the conservatory hall. He is a very talented, most agreeable and altogether very deserving young man. I have taken the liberty of sending you some tickets, humbly asking that you accept some of them, if not all. This will be a good deed on your part, but I think you can expect to be pleased by the concert. I ask you to convey my greetings to Pavel Mikhaylovich and your whole family, and be assured of my sincere respect and devotion. P. Tchaikovsky P. S. I beg you to send 2 words in reply. |
