Priest and professor of church music history at the Moscow Conservatory (b. 26 October/7 November 1818 [1], near Tula; d. 2/14 January 1889 in Moscow), born Dmitry Vasilyevich Razumovsky (Дмитрий Васильевич Разумовский).
Tchaikovsky greatly valued Razumovsky's advice concerning traditional Russian choral singing, and sought his advice when composing his liturgical works.
Razumovsky also officiated at the composer's marriage to Antonina Milyukova in Moscow on 6/18 July 1877.
