Каменка 31 окт[ября] Милый Толяша! Приехали Литке и милая наша Лили. Они очень огорчены, что не видели тебя в Москве. Отчего ты не попал на вокзал? Я ещё все не решаюсь назначить дня отъезда. Маля и Никс очень уговаривают ехать с ними около 10-го числа. Так как у них свой вагон, то предложение очень соблазнительно. Но, впрочем, я, может быть, выеду и раньше, т. е. 8 числа. Так как скоро увидимся, то не хочется распространяться о разных подробностях. Здоровье Саши очень порядочно. Они обе с Малей при свидании много плакали, и это их обеих, видимо, облегчало, и сегодня обе провели отличную ночь. Лилиша милая вчера тоже плакала, особенно при встрече с Модестом, которого она уже год как не видела. Я получил сегодня твоё письмо с описанием казуса Климентовой. Это, очевидно, не что иное, как сильный нервный припадок. Влюблена она в тебя, что ли? Кажется, это следует заключить из некоторых мест твоего письма. Ах ты, влюбчивый мальчик! Опять влюблён! И отчего ты всегда влюбляешься не в тех, кто тебя любит. Таня и Вера вернулись, и очень это приятно. Таня очень поправилась и похорошела. В своё время уведомлю тебя о дне выезда. Kamenka 31 October Dear Tolyasha! Litke and our dear Lili have arrived. They are very upset not to have seen you in Moscow. Why didn't you go to the station? I still cannot decide on the date of my departure. Malya and Niks are trying very hard to persuade me to go with them around the 10th. Since they have their own carriage, the offer is very tempting. But I might still leave earlier anyway, i.e. on the 8th. Since we'll be seeing each other soon, I don't want to go into details. Sasha is in very decent health.
