Notes and References
- ↑ The Cyrillic script was rendered into a romanised form by the telegraph office. The Russian text would be: «Конечно согласен, Сапельников тоже.».
- ↑ Evidently Tchaikovsky was replying to a letter or telegram from Pyotr Jurgenson (which has not survived), asking if he wanted to conduct two concerts in Moscow in December 1888, and whether the pianist Vasily Sapelnikov could participate.
