Kirik Iosifovich

Great-great-great grandfather of the composer (b. around 1710), born Kirik Iosifovich (Кирик Иосифович).
He began clerical service in the churches at Vologda and Beloozersk, before moving to Saint Petersburg in 1733. After serving in the domestic chapel of General A. I. Ushakov of the Semyonovsky Regiment, he was transferred to the Troitsky Cathedral in 1738. He had at least one child — Yevfimiya (1727).
