7 December 1869 This is such a mad time that I can't find the chance to write to you in detail; I'm sending you a letter from Meshchersky for your information and to act on his advice. Yesterday we had a banquet lasting a whole day; in the morning there was skating out of town, then lunch and a ball. I'm awfully tired. I kiss you. Did you receive the letter and 15 silver rubles? |
