| Прошу дирекцию принять от меня живейшую благодарность за сделанную мне честь, глубоко ценю столь лестный знак внимания. Потрудись передать Антону Григорьевичу искреннейшее сожаление, что вследствие неожиданных обстоятельств и необходимости немедленного выезда не могу присутствовать на обеде и лишён возможности поднять бокал за процветание Консерватории и её глубокочтимого директора. Чувство горячей благодарности за все, чем обязан я Консерватории и моему учителю Антону Григорьевичу, никогда не изгладится из моей памяти.

I ask the directors to accept my most vibrant gratitude for the honour afforded me [1], I deeply appreciate such a flattering sign of recognition. Kindly convey to Anton Grigoryevich my sincere apologies that as a consequence of unexpected circumstances and the need for my immediate departure I cannot attend the dinner and will be deprived of the opportunity of raising a glass to the prosperity of the Conservatory and its esteemed director. The ardent feelings of gratitude for everything that I owe to the Conservatory and my teacher Anton Grigoryevich shall never be erased from my memory.
