I need 1) to put a French title on one of the cover pages, 2) to correct typographical errors and to carefully insert commas and full stops, 3) to review the numbering of scenes and individual numbers [1].

I've sent you the score of the Third Symphony.

P. Tchaikovsky

Whenever I need you, you're never at home. I'm issuing you with the harshest reprimand.

Notes and References

  1. Tchaikovsky is referring to the arrangement for voices and piano of his opera Vakula the Smith, which would be published by Jurgenson in April 1876, with the cover title given in Russian, French and German.
