Kindly arrange for a copy of the full score of the concerto to be sent to Hartvigson in London. His address is at the head of the enclosed letter. But would it better to have your agent forward it to Hartvigson? I shall pay for the shipment [1].

Notes and References

  1. On 17 March 1877 [N.S.], the Danish pianist Frits Hartvigson performed Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 at the St. James's Hall in London. See also Letter 548a to Hartvigson, 13/25 April 1877. Hartvigson's letter to Tchaikovsky requesting the score of the concerto has not survived.
