Friend of Varvara Zarudnaya, born Anna Mikhaylovna Voytkevich (Анна Михайловна Войткевич).

Anna lived with Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov and his wife Varvara Zarudnaya in Tiflis, where Tchaikovsky became acquainted with her during his visits to the city in the late 1880s.
