Aleksandr Litke
Tchaikovsky Research
Second cousin of the composer (b. 9/21 December 1868; d. 1912), born Count Aleksandr Nikolayevich Litke (Александр Николаевич Литке), and known familiarly to Tchaikovsky as Sanya (Саня).
He was the son of state councillor Nikolay Litke (1839–1887) and his wife Amaliya, and the older brother of Konstantin Litke.

- Letter 4444 – 22 July/3 August 1891, from Maydanovo.
17 letters from Aleksandr Litke to the composer, dating from 1891 to 1893, are preserved in the Tchaikovsky State Memorial Musical Museum-Reserve at Klin (a4, Nos. 2145–2161) [1].
