Cello Sonata

A note of a theme in G minor (8 bars), headed "All[eg]ro (idea for sonata with cello)" is found in one of Tchaikovsky's notebooks, above the date "24 November 1891" [1]. No other references to this work are found in the composer's correspondence or sketches.
