Sister of the violinist Iosif Kotek, born Yuliya Iosifovna Kotek (Юлия Иосифовна Котек); known after her marriage as Yuliya Iosifovna Chistyakova-Mikhalevskaya (Юлия Иосифовна Чистякова-Михалевская).
