Пришли, пожалуйста, Кондратьеву следующие ноты:

4) Все №№ из «Снегур[оч]ки»
5) Andante моего квартета Клиндворта.

Пришли все это поскорее по следующему адресу: Харьковской губ[ерния], в г[ород] Сумы, Н. Д. Кондратьеву.

Я здесь пробуду с неделю; отсюда стремлюсь в Каменку, а потом за границу. 1-го июля встретимся в «Belle-Vue» в Дрездене. Если теперь ты найдёшь нужным написать мне, то пиши в Каменку (Киевской губ[ерния], Черкасского уезда, в мест[е] Смелу).

  1. Vasily Prokunin's collection of 65 Russian Folksongs was revised and edited by Tchaikovsky at the compiler's request in 1872 and 1873.
  2. Konstantin Petrovich Villebois (Vilbua; 1817–1882), Russian composer and conductor, whose collection of Russian folksongs was published in 1860.
  3. The first set of Children's Songs on Russian and Ukrainian Tunes by Mariya Mamontova, which Tchaikovsky had edited and harmonised in 1872.
  4. Karl Klindworth's arrangement for solo piano of the Andante cantabile movement from Tchaikovsky's String Quartet No. 1.
  5. Kamenka was actually in the neighbouring Chigirin district.
